Robert Bennett – Managing director
Great grandson of the founder, Robert joined the company in 1967 after completing a 4 year apprenticeship at Norbury joinery works and the London Furniture College (City & Guilds). He continued another 3 year french polishing apprenticeship within the company before transferring into the management aspect of the business, eventually becoming Managing Director after his fathers retirement. He continues to control a highly skilled and successful family business with the full support and expertise of both his sons.
Ian Bennett – Contracts Manager / Head Polisher
The eldest son to Robert Bennett. Ian studied graphic design Reigate & Redhill College. His working career started with the company in 1994, working primarily in shop refitting and on restoration projects. While working within the business he studied his apprenticeship under the supervision of three polishers with combined experience of 100 years in the trade. He has applied his knowledge and experience on all the work undertaken under the company and now holds the position of contracts manager/head polisher, continuing the family name practicing the fine art of french polishing.
Neil Bennett – Operations Director
The youngest son to Robert Bennett. Neil graduated from university in 1998 and went straight to work within the business on site at the Savoy Hotel and in the workshop premises where he learnt the trade of french polishing. He then left the business to pursue other avenues working for large companies including Legal and General and Glaxosmithkline gaining valuable business experience. Neil returned to the family business in 2007 and has now been able to implement his experience into the business as Operations Director
